She is from Mexico and she immigrate to Canada in 2005 with her Parents and Sister.
She teaches kindergarten in Mexico and worked as a Nanny since she was 15 years old.
In Canada she starts working in a Multi-aged language daycare teaching Spanish to children. She lived in Victoria for 20 years and she worked in different daycares, she learned from new experiences in each center.
She is being working with different ages from 6 months to 12 years old.
Working also in Vancouver in a daycare and University of British Columbia, Cridge center for the family; Edmonton public School when she learned Braille as She worked with a Blind Boy for 2 years.
SUPERVISION AND STAFF PLAN
At Mi Mundo center the children will be supervised at all times by either an Early Childhood Educator (Thania Sanchez Velazquez) another ECE and Early Childhood Educator Assistant (Sub occasionally) .
The staff to child ratio at our facility is one Early Childhood Educator and Assistant per 14 children:
Two Toddlers from 2 .5 years old and 12 children from ages 3 to 5 years old.
Staff at our facility practice active, positive and caring supervision while maintaining a constant line of vision with the children at all times. Our indoor and outdoor areas have been designed to provide an interesting and educational safe play environment where children are able to move freely between activities with minimal hazards.

Mi Mundo childcare is a Spanish based childcare focus in the environment, multicultural program and values, manners and respect. We have a deep respect for nature, the environment and for other people around the world. As we lived in a multicultural country is important to show the children the different cultures and traditions, so they can appreciate and understand each other and also learn a new language.
Also we think is important to teach children values, manners and respect to each other.
We promote developmentally appropriate and learning activities to nurture a child's physical, cognitive, emotional, social growth.
We encourage children to do learning activities to help their brain development and be more prepare for school.
We also believe that through play, children learn and grow.

The Childcare Fee Reduction Initiative
The Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) is intended to enhance child care affordability for families by offering eligible, licensed child care providers (providers) funding to reduce monthly parent fees. Providers enrolled in CCFRI through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (the Ministry) receive Parent Fee Reduction Payments and an Administrative Top-up Payment in addition to their Child Care Operating Funding (CCOF) base funding, which they are contractually required to pass along to parents in the form of reduced parent fees, up to the following amounts for full-time care:
• $385 month for children 2.5 to 3 years old.
• $435 month for children aged 3 years to Kindergarten.
If a facility applies for and is approved to enroll in the CCFRI, the Ministry will provide the facility with monthly payments comprised of:
1. Administrative Top-up Payments over and above the facility’s CCOF Base Payments for each child enrolled in the “Under 36 months” and/or in the “3 years to Kindergarten” enrolment categories for offsetting any administrative costs associated with administering the Parent Fee Reduction Payments detailed below; and
2. Parent Fee Reduction Payments for each child enrolled in the “Under 36 months” and/or the “3 years to Kindergarten” enrolment categories for which the provider must, in turn, correspondingly reduce parent fees in accordance with the prescribed amounts.
For 2019/20, the Administrative Top-Up Payment under the CCFRI is 15% of the base funding the provider receives for children reported in the “Under 36 Months” and/or “3 Years to Kindergarten” categories on their Monthly Enrolment Report.
Affordable Child Care Benefit/Child care Subsidy.
On September 1, 2018, the Affordable Child Care Benefit replaced the Child Care Subsidy. The new funding will help families with the cost of child care, depending on factors like family size, type of care and household income.
